Large operation elasticity and wide application. Various drying factors of the cyinder dryer can be adjusted, such as density of feeding aerials/thickness of materials film, temperature of heating medium, rotating speed of the cylinder etc. which can change drying speed of the under dryer. Short drying period. The drying period of materials is normally 10to 15 seconds, so it is suitable for heat-sensitive materials. It can be also rated under less pressure condition if it is put in vacuum.

Fast drying rate. As film of materials coated on the wall of the cylinder is very thin. Normally, thickness is 0.3to 1.5 mm, plus directions heat and mass transmitting are identical, the evaporation strength on the surface of the film can keep at30~70kg..H2O/m2.h.

| Principle |
Cylinder dryer is a kind of rotating continuous drying equipment with internal heating conducting-style. Certain thickness of material film there to the lower trough of material under the rotating cylinder. Heat is transferred to the internal wall of the cylinder through pipes and misfired again to the external wall and to materials film, to evaporate and damnify moisture in materials film so as to dry materials. Dried hterials are then scraped out by the blade fitted on the surface of the cylinder, fall down to the spiral conveyor under the blade, and are conveyed, lected and packed.
